Tips:
1. Regarding USB 3.0:
The performance of the Xiaomi 4-in-1 Dual-Head Hub complies with USB-IF standards. USB 3.0 = USB 3.1 Gen1 = USB 3.2 Gen1 × 1, with a theoretical speed of 5 Gbps and actual transfer speeds of up to 400 MB/s. Real-world speeds may vary due to environmental and device factors. Please ensure your devices and cables support USB 3.0 or higher.
2. Host device fails to charge or transfer data:
Verify the functionality of the host port. If it is not designed for data and power delivery, only partial expansion features may be supported.
3. Product heating:
Heating of the hub is normal. When powered, the motherboard operates, causing electronic components to generate heat. The amount of heat may vary based on usage duration, operations, and ambient temperature. The built-in metal layer provides effective thermal conduction and dissipation, so heating during use is normal and not a quality issue.
4. External hard drive not recognized or external devices malfunctioning:
If the required current exceeds the maximum output of the hub or your laptop’s port, external devices may not function properly. It is recommended to connect the power adapter to the hub’s USB Type-C power delivery port to enhance output and ensure stable operation.
5. 2.4G wireless mouse stuttering:
Performance varies among wireless mice. Occasional stuttering may occur due to interference in the usage environment. For improved performance, connect the mouse wireless receiver to the outermost USB-A port of the hub or directly to a USB-A port on your laptop.
6. Adapter cannot charge laptop:
The USB Type-C power delivery port is designed only to supply additional power to the four USB-A ports of this hub. It does not support power delivery to devices such as laptops, tablets, or phones via USB-A/USB Type-C cables.
